Frequently Asked Question's
What makes A2 Ghee different from regular ghee?
Our A2 ghee is sourced from Gir cows that produce milk containing the A2 beta-casein protein, whereas regular ghee may be sourced from cows producing milk containing a mixture of A1 and A2 beta-casein proteins.
Is A2 Ghee suitable for cooking?
Yes, A2 ghee is highly versatile and suitable for various cooking methods including frying, sautéing, and baking. It has a high smoke point, making it ideal for high-heat cooking.
Why is Hari Priye A2 ghee more expensive as compared to others.?
Gir cows typically yield 6 to 8 liters of milk per day, of which 40 to 50 percent is properly consumed by the calf. This type of ghee is more expensive than others because it requires 25–30 litres of A2 Gir Cow Milk to create 1 litre of pure A2 Ghee. We take pride in ensuring the well-being of our cows and maintaining their natural health, which is why we do not resort to injecting them with oxytocin injection to increase milk yield.
Does A2 Ghee contain any additives or preservatives?
Our pure A2 ghee does not contain any additives or preservatives. It is made solely from A2 milk, without the addition of any chemicals or artificial ingredients.
Do you use natural breeding methods for your cows?
Yes, we only raise our cows using natural breeding practices. We support preserving our animals' natural health and wellbeing and letting them reproduce naturally without the need for artificial insemination.
